SANTA CLARA, 6. April 2010: Data Robotics Inc. stellt heute Drobo FS vor- das neue Mitglied der Drobo-Familie ermöglicht ein einfaches, erweiterbares File Sharing. Automatisierte Datenschutz-Funktionen und File-Sharing werden gleichzeitig bereitgestellt und so der gemeinsame Zugriff auf die Speicherlösung erleichtert. Drobo FS ist daher ideal für private Anwender, Nutzer im Home Office und auch in kleineren Büros, die ihre Daten anderen zugänglich machen wollen. Drobo FS basiert auf der vielfach ausgezeichneten virtualisierten Speichertechnologie BeyondRAID und ist als flexible Plattform konzipiert, die schnell und einfach durch das Hinzufügen von Funktionen und Kapazität individuell angepasst werden kann.

Drobo FS bietet automatisierten Datenschutz für alle angeschlossenen Systeme- dank der virtualisierten Speichertechnologie BeyondRAID. Drobo FS lässt sich mit einem Mausklick von einfacher auf doppelte Plattenredundanz umstellen und bietet so Schutz bei bis zu zwei gleichzeitigen Festplattenausfällen. Self-Healing Technology
With the self-healing technology built into Drobo FS, your data is safer than ever. When idle, the unit will proactively examine the blocks and sectors on every drive, flagging questionable areas. This preemptive "scrubbing" helps ensure your data is being written only to the healthy areas of your drives. When a drive fails, Drobo FS keeps your data in the safest state possible by moving your data to the available space on the remaining healthy drives.
